Indian Army Sets Up PC Lab at Gairibas Higher Secondary School to Promote Digital Learning

In a significant initiative aimed at strengthening digital education infrastructure, the Indian Army has set up a fully equipped PC Lab at Gairibas Higher Secondary School,in the Gorubathan block of Darjeeling district of West Bengal.
The newly established facility is designed to enhance computer education and promote digital literacy among the students.
The initiative seeks to provide improved access to technology and enable students to acquire essential computer skills that are critical for academic advancement and future career opportunities.
The PC Lab is expected to play a vital role in supporting digital learning, familiarising students with modern computing tools and bridging the digital divide in the region. By strengthening the school’s educational infrastructure, the initiative contributes towards empowering students with practical knowledge and technological competence.
School authorities expressed their appreciation for the initiative, stating that the establishment of the PC Lab would significantly improve the quality of education and create greater learning opportunities for students. They noted that access to structured computer training would help students build confidence and prepare for higher studies and competitive environments.
