As part of the Capacity Development Program on Team Bulding through Trekking was successfully conducted by the South Zonal Office of the NSO CQCD, Bengaluru. Under the able guidance of Sh Anupam Lahiri, DDG (Zone) the Trekking was conducted at Coorg, Madikeri District, Karnataka. Youth Hostel Association of India, Madikeri District Branch extended all out support for successful conduct of the trekking. 

In all, 30 Officers of SSS Cadre including one lady officer, posted in various Regional Offices and Sub Regional Offices under the jurisdiction of the Southern Zone participated in the program. The Program was inaugurated on 26th January 2026 by the Zonal DDG. Under the able leadership of Shri B M Rajasekar, Chairman of Madikeri Branch of Youth Hostel Association of India, all the participants found the program highly enjoyable and at the same time highly educative. 

On 29th January 2026, the Valedictory Program was held in the evening. Sh M Abdul Rehman, Assistant Director, Zonal Office, NSO CQCD was present in the Valedictory Ceremony and certificates were handed over to the participants by the Chairman, Madikeri Branch of Youth Hostel Association of India.
