A Rangoli competition was organised at Assi Ghat on November 25, 2025, as part of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) organised the programme, which saw the participation of over 150 students. The activity highlighted the cultural linkages between Kashi and Tamil Nadu, with students expressing these connections through traditional visual art.

Students created Rangoli designs depicting themes such as temple architecture, folk art, mythology, and cultural symbols from both regions. Several students illustrated the Meenakshi Temple in Madurai, while others drew inspiration from the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, reflecting the linkages between the two regions. The event also drew interest from visiting guests who engaged with the students to learn about the artistic traditions showcased at the Ghat.

The day-long competition reinforced the core aim of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 to strengthen cultural linkages across different regions of the country. Outstanding student entries were acknowledged at the conclusion of the programme, marking the culmination of a meaningful cultural exchange at Assi Ghat.
