Replying to an un-starred question today in Lok Sabha the Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uikey informed that The Pradhan Mantri DhartiAabaJanjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (PM DA JGUA) known as DhartiAabaJanjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA JGUA) is a flagship initiative aimed at bridging critical infrastructure gaps in tribal areas, including educational institutions, hostels, and community facilities, to ensure holistic development and welfare of tribal communities.

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has received proposals from the Government of Telangana for consideration of funds. As per consideration of Project Appraisal Committee (PAC), details of approved projects under the DAJGUA scheme by Ministry of Tribal Affairs are as under:

(b) Ministry of Tribal Affairs has received proposals for establishment of Tribal Multipurpose Marketing Centres (TMMCs) to provide marketing linkages, skill development, and mentoring support for Minor Forest Produce (MFP) gatherers and tribal artisans. Details are as below:-

• Number of Units Proposed: 02
• Proposed Amount: Rs. 200.00 lakh
• Number of Units Approved: 02
• PAC Approved Amount: Rs. 200.00 lakh

(c) The appraisal of proposals submitted by the Government of Telangana under the Pradhan Mantri DhartiAabaJanjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (PM DA JGUA) for 2024–25 and 2025–26 has been completed so far.

(d) The Government has received proposals from the Government of Telangana and Project appraisal committee has approved a total cost of Rs 86.38 crore for various components. Details are as below:-
