IIM Tiruchirappalli Releases First Independently Audited Placement Report

The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIMT) has released its first-ever independently audited Placement Report, marking a commitment to transparency and global best practices in data credibility. This move strategically reinforces the Institute’s established standing, which includes its AMBA re-accreditation and the NIRF 2025 16th rank. This initiative demonstrates IIMT's holistic dedication to excellence and institutional accountability.

The audited report is a direct response to the increasing need for clarity and assurance among all stakeholders in management education. The process ensures that all reported metrics, from compensation figures to participation data, are fully validated and credible.

Highlighting the significance of the endeavour, Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director of IIM Tiruchirappalli, said, “This audited placement report is more than a milestone — it is a statement of trust. By embracing transparency, IIM Tiruchirappalli demonstrates to recruiters that they can rely on us for accurate insights into the capabilities of our students. This achievement is a collective effort.”

Prof. Abhishek Kumar Totawar, Chairperson – Placements, emphasised the values underpinning the process. “Placements at IIM Tiruchirappalli are anchored in a simple principle: doing what is right, even when it is not easy. This year marks an important step forward — our placement report has, for the first time, been externally audited, underscoring transparency and accountability.”

The audited report captures another successful placement season at IIM Tiruchirappalli. Key highlights include:

• 150+ companies in summer placements, with 50+ new recruiters across diverse domains.

• Highest stipend of INR 3.5 lakh (PGPM) and INR 2 lakh (PGPM-HR).

• 189 companies recruited during final placements for PGPM, and 40 companies for PGPM-HR.

• Highest CTC: ₹43.94 lakh (PGPM), ₹33.12 lakh (PGPM-HR).

• Average CTC: ₹19.27 lakh (PGPM), ₹17.84 lakh (PGPM-HR).

• Strong recruiter participation across IT, Consulting, BFSI, FMCG, Operations, and Public Sector.

By successfully issuing its first audited placement report, IIM Tiruchirappalli establishes a permanent benchmark for institutional integrity and reliability.
