SAI NCOE Bhopal Athlete Shraddha Chopade Wins Gold for India

hraddha Chopade, a promising judoka from the Sports Authority of India (SAI) National Centre of Excellence (NCOE), Bhopal, has made the nation proud by winning the Gold Medal at the Gold Coast Oceania Open 2025 held in Australia. This victory marks her 10th international medal, a testament to her consistent excellence and dedication to the sport.
Earlier this year, Shraddha was honoured with the prestigious Shiv Chhatrapati State Sports Award by the Government of Maharashtra for her outstanding achievements in Judo. She has been training at SAI NCOE Bhopal since 2022, where she continues to benefit from world-class coaching, modern training facilities, and scientific support.

On this remarkable accomplishment, Shri Abhishek Singh Chauhan (ITS), Regional Director, SAI Central Regional Centre (CRC), Bhopal, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Shraddha Chopade. He commended her for bringing glory to the nation and stated,
“Shraddha’s success is a reflection of her perseverance and hard work. Her achievement will inspire other athletes and further strengthen India’s presence in the international Judo arena.”
Shraddha’s triumph not only highlights her individual excellence but also underscores the high-quality training ecosystem and dedicated mentorship available at SAI NCOE Bhopal, under the guidance of experienced coaches and an expert Sports Science team.
