Sansad Digital Setu was launched by Bhavnagar and Botad MP and Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Smt. Nimuben Bambhaniya on October 6, 2025, at Yeshwanthrai Natyagruha, Bhavnagar. A book showcasing the progress of one year of MP and Union Minister of State Smt. Nimuben Bambhaniya was released at this program.

In addition, the Namo Pragati Shakti Portal, Namo Jan Setu Portal, and the Sansad Lok Setu Mobile Application were launched in the program for transparent and direct contact with the voters.

Stating that the development of Bhavnagar and Botad is a shared goal, Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Smt. Nimuben Bambhaniya, described the three newly launched digital initiatives as a direct bridge between the public and their public representatives. Further, the Union Minister of State said that India, which is transforming in the 21st century, is directly connecting with the public under Digital India. The result of the Prime Minister's visionary vision is that the people of the country are quickly getting the benefits of various schemes and facilities of the government using digital medium with transparency and in less time. She further said that work is becoming increasingly easier through new technology, and with the use of this new initiative, citizens will be able to quickly get the benefits of their desired facilities, as well as easily present the problems of their area and development-oriented works through digital means. She further described the Sansad Lok Setu mobile application as a bridge for connecting people with their MP. Through this, the people of the parliamentary constituency will be directly connected with their public representative through this digital medium.

On this occasion, relevant speeches were given by Bhavnagar Mayor Shri Bharatbhai Barad, Bhavnagar East MLA Shri Sejalben Pandya, leader Shri Kumarbhai Shah, and leader Shri Mayurbhai Patel.

 

Botad District Panchayat President Mrs. Jethiben Paljibhai Parmar, Bhavnagar Deputy Mayor Mrs. Monaben Parekh, Standing Committee Chairman Mr. Rajubhai Rabdia, leader Mr. Digvijay Singh Gohil, District Rural Development Agency Director Mr. Jayashreeben Jaru, and other leaders were present in the program.
