PIB Kolkata has planned various activities that reflect its dedication to the campaign, like planting of a sapling under the "Ek Ped Ma Ke Naam" drive by the Director General, as well as cleaning of public places, ghats and parks both near the office premises and surrounding areas. PIB Kolkata has also been publicising activities by various departments of the Union Government under Swachhotsav, making sure people are informed of its objectives and inspired to adopt cleaner and more sanitary habits, strengthening the campaign overall.
