A series of interactive Nukkad Natak- “प्रयास” have commenced at Bullet Train construction sites

Posted On: 19 AUG 2025 3:32PM by PIB Ahmedabad

To raise awareness and reiterate the importance of safety at construction sites, a series of interactive Nukkad Natak started on 18th August 2025 from Ahmedabad Bullet Train construction site. A total of 40 construction sites (29 in Gujarat and 11 in Maharashtra) along the corridor are being covered.

The Nukkad Nataks cover important safety topics such as working at heights, operating in and around heavy machinery, working near roads and railways, and avoiding the use of mobile phones while at work. The plays strongly encourage workers to make safety their top priority at all times.

Since workers at Bullet Train construction sites come from diverse regions of the country and speak different languages and dialects, the plays were performed using simple, clear, and easy to understand language to ensure effective communication.

The campaign will cover several under-construction Bullet Train stations, casting yards, tunnel construction sites, depots, bridges, and viaducts in Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Earlier, NHSRCL conducted 100 Nukkad Nataks, where more than 15,000 construction workers participated.

NHSRCL remains committed to ensuring that all Bullet Train construction sites are safe workplaces for everyone. These Nukkad Nataks are another step forward in that direction.
