UIDAI CEO, Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar, IAS, visited the UIDAI State Office, Ahmedabad on 18th August 2025. During the visit, DDG RO Mumbai, Director, State Office, and the State Office team were present.

The CEO reviewed the progress of Aadhaar enrolment, update activities, and authentication performance in the State. He appreciated the efforts of the State Office team and emphasized the importance of ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and citizen convenience in Aadhaar-related services. He also interacted with residents, listened to their concerns, and guided the state team to provide appropriate resolutions.

Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar further provided directions for strengthening the Aadhaar ecosystem in Gujarat, with a focus on child enrolment, Mandatory Biometric Update (MBU), enhancing Universal Client (UC) productivity, increasing Aadhaar-based authentication, and establishing robust monitoring mechanisms.

The visit marked a significant step towards reinforcing UIDAI’s commitment to providing seamless, inclusive, and secure Aadhaar services to residents.
