The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) is organizing various programs across the country, aimed at highlighting the contribution of official statistics to India's development journey.

One of the main events of this celebration is Anvesha 2.0 – 2025, a national level quiz competition organized by NSO (FOD) today , in this event 29 Statistics and Economics Colleges had participated. This competition was organized on 18 July 2025 in State Headquarters Regions (SCROs) across the country. This quiz was held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat also. The event started at 10 am in the Zoology Hall of the University. In which DDG Junaid Farooqui of NSO (FOD), DDG of EnSU Shri Rajnish Mathur, Director of DES of Gujarat State Shri Rakesh Pandya, HOD of the Department of Statistics of the university Shri Pravendra Singh, HOD of the Department of Economics of the university Shri Sanjay Pardeshi were present at the program and inaugurated the program.  58 students from various colleges/universities of Ahmedabad district participated in this quiz. All the participating students were given certificates for participation.

Prizes were given to the 3 winning teams. In which the first prize went to J.G. Institute of Business Administration, the second prize went to GLS University, and the third prize went to St. Xaviers College.
