The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Regional Office, Jaipur organized a Consumer Outreach Program (COP) Today on 26th June 2025 at Bhavans Sheth R A College of Arts and Commerce, Ahmedabad. The program was focused on creating awareness about Unsolicited Commercial Communications (UCC) was spam calls/messages, their impact, and the measures taken by TRAI to curb this menace and efforts of TRAI in Quality improvement & Systematize Customer complaint redressal by service providers.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Shri Rajesh Kumar Agerwal (ITS) Advisor, TRAI RO Jaipur, who emphasized the importance of consumer awareness in combating the growing problem of spam calls and messages. He highlighted TRAI's commitment to protecting consumers from fraudulent activities in the telecom sector. A presentation was made by Sh. J P Garg, Joint Advisor on TRAI initiatives to curb spamming, TRAI DND App and other initiatives of consumer interest.

A lecture is also delivered by Sh. Ankit Sharma, Director, LSA Gujarat of Department of Telecommunication Gujarat on DOT's initiative in controlling of Cyber Crimes and consumer awareness about Sanchar Saathi App/portal and EMF Radiation Awareness. The event saw active interaction from students, faculty, and consumer rights groups, with discussions on real-life fraud cases and preventive measures.

Program ended with vote of thanks by Sh. Amit Prakash S.R.O to all participant
