A new Jan Aushadhi Kendra was inaugurated today at AIIMS Jodhpur by the Executive Director, Dr. Govardhan Dutt Puri, who also purchased medicines from the newly opened outlet to mark the occasion. This step furthers AIIMS Jodhpur’s mission to provide quality medicines at affordable prices.

The success of the first Jan Aushadhi Kendra, established in January 2024, laid the foundation for this second center. Currently, nearly 500 beneficiaries are availing low-cost, quality medicines from the existing Jan Aushadhi facility every day.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by faculty members, administrative officials, staff, and students of AIIMS Jodhpur. AIIMS Jodhpur remains committed to expanding access to essential healthcare through initiatives like the Jan Aushadhi scheme.
