The Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST), Pune Zone, proudly conducted the Rozgar Mela on 26 April 2025 in Pune. This event formed a vital part of the Government of India’s nationwide initiative to generate employment opportunities and enhance the efficiency of public service delivery systems.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers, Health and Family Welfare, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Hon’ble Minister of State for Cooperation and Civil Aviation, Shri Murlidhar Mohol who served as the Chief Guests. In their inspiring addresses to the newly appointed candidates, the dignitaries emphasized the crucial role of public servants in nation-building and urged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and dedication throughout their careers.

During the event, a total of 92 selected candidates were ceremoniously presented with their official appointment letters for various roles in prominent government and public sector organizations, including CGST, Income Tax, EPFO, CRPF, Indian Railways, Ministry of Health, BRO, Defense Estates, FCI, CGHS, and various nationalized banks.

The ceremony also witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including Chief Commissioner, CBIC Pune Zone, Shri Mayank Kumar and Principal Commissioner, CGST Pune-1, Shri Mihir Kumar, whose presence added great significance to the occasion.; along with senior officials from the Indian Railways, Income Tax Department, banking institutions, CRPF, and other government and public sector organizations. Their participation reflected a collective commitment to fostering employment generation and strengthening public service frameworks. This initiative reflects the Government’s unwavering commitment to providing meaningful employment opportunities while enhancing the overall efficiency of public services across the nation.
