National Institute of Fashion Technology, Gandhinagar, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great zeal and patriotic fervour. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Dr. Sameer Sood, Director, NIFT Gandhinagar, amidst the inspiring strains of the National Anthem.

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from staff, students, and faculty members, who gathered to honour the spirit of the Constitution and pay tribute to the nation.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sameer Sood reflected on Republic Day's significance and emphasised the youth's role in shaping a progressive and sustainable India. He also highlighted NIFT Gandhinagar's contribution to innovation, heritage preservation, and its commitment to nation-building through design and creativity.

The event featured vibrant cultural performances, including students' traditional and contemporary dance routines, resonating with the spirit of unity in diversity. Students recited heartfelt poetry, echoing patriotic sentiments and the values enshrined in the Constitution of India.

Certificates of merit were awarded to students who excelled in various fields, celebrating their hard work and dedication.
