DAE celebrated the 76^th Republic Day on January 26, 2025.  Commemorating the event, Dr. A.K Mohanty, Secretary Department of Atomic Energy and Chairman Atomic Energy Commission hoisted the National Flag as the Chief Guest at Old Yacht Club, DAE headquarters.  The Parade was inspected by Secretary DAE followed by March Past by troupe of DAE security, and School Children from AECS.

Secretary DAE addressed the gathering and pronounced the importance of Republic Day and outlined the developmental activities & achievements made by Department of Atomic Energy in general and also the latest developments on Science & Technology in the Country.

In line with the theme of Republic Day 2025, “Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas” (Golden India: Heritage and Progress) Dr A.K Mohanty talked about the Amrit Kaal vision 2047 of DAE, which will ensure energy, health, agriculture, food and strategic security in Viksit Bharat.
