Two final-year students from IIT Gandhinagar have been selected to represent the institute as Special Guests at the 76th Republic Day Prade (RDP). Ms Sakshi Sridhar Katkur, a Chemical Engineering student, and Mr Vedant Pradeep Kumbhar, a Mechanical Engineering student, have been honoured with this opportunity.

 

Both students are recipients of the PM YASASVI (Prime Minister Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme). Sharing her excitement, Sakshi said, "I’m thrilled to witness the Republic Day Parade live – a moment I’ve always dreamed of while watching it on TV! It feels surreal, and I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity.”  Vedant added, "Attending the Republic Day Parade in Delhi is a moment of immense pride for me, as it celebrates the unity and diversity of our nation."

It is a proud moment for IIT Gandhinagar.
