The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Ahmedabad (NIPER-Ahmedabad), a premier institute of national importance under the aegis of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, will hold its 11th Convocation Ceremony on December 27, 2024. The event will take place at NIPER-Ahmedabad’s Gandhinagar campus, under the leadership of Prof. Shailendra Saraf, Director, NIPER Ahmedabad.

The convocation will be graced by Prof. Ramesh Chandra, FRSC (London), Vice Chancellor, Maharaja Surajmal Brij University, Bharatpur (Rajasthan), as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished dignitaries from academia and industry will also be in attendance to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating students.

This year, a total of 173 students will receive their degrees, including 163 Master’s (MS and MBA) graduates and 10 Ph.D. scholars. The convocation will also honor students who have achieved academic excellence:

• The Student Standing First in Overall Merit in the Master’s Programme (Batch 2022–2024) will receive a prestigious award.
• Students standing First in Merit in their Respective Disciplines of the Master’s Programme will also be recognized.

• The Top Five Meritorious Students of the Master’s Programme will be awarded a Certificate of Appreciation and a Book Prize for their exemplary academic achievements.

Adding to the celebratory spirit, an Alumni Meet will also be organized following the convocation. This gathering will provide a platform for alumni to reconnect, share their professional journeys, and foster stronger bonds with the institute and its current students.
