On December 9, 2024, 112 students of CLASS VIII from PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ahmedabad Cantt, visited the NIELIT Information Technology Centre in Mogri, Anand, for a one-day hands-on training session. The visit was part of the second phase of the IT Awareness Program, aimed at enhancing students’ practical knowledge of emerging technologies.

Students participated in demonstrations on advanced multimedia tools like 3ds Max, Maya, and VFX, exploring 3D modeling, animation, and visual effects. The session also included a comprehensive Cyber Security workshop, emphasizing online safety practices. Additionally, students were introduced to Office Automation with Power BI and Advanced MS Excel, learning to analyze and visualize data effectively.

The visit featured a tour of the ITC Data Centre, a Cloud Computing Lab, and an AI-based Conference Room, showcasing the latest advancements in IT infrastructure and artificial intelligence.

This interactive experience significantly enhanced students’ understanding of the digital world.
