About Mr. Shani Himanshu:

Hailing from Gujarat, a state celebrated for its rich textile and craft traditions, Mr. Shani Himanshu began his design journey at NIFT Gandhinagar. He further refined his skills by completing an MA in Fashion Design from Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. During this time, he gained global exposure by working with renowned industry leaders, including Renzo Rosso, Giuseppe Menta, and Architect Renato Montanier.

Mr. Shani is the Co-founder and Director of 11.11 / eleven eleven, a contemporary prêt label under CellDSGN Pvt. Ltd. The brand is recognized for its seamless blend of India’s traditional craftsmanship with modern luxury. With a focus on sustainability, 11.11 / eleven eleven has established direct connections with farmers, weavers, and artisans, preserving indigenous techniques such as tie-dye, natural dyeing, and block printing.

Under his leadership, the brand has gained widespread acclaim for its innovative use of indigenous cotton and 100% natural dyes, along with its emphasis on small-batch, slow-made clothing. By collaborating with artisan communities, the brand successfully showcases how local craftsmanship can thrive on the global stage while honoring heritage and empowering communities.
