6-Day CME For Ayush Teachers / Scientists on “Current trends in R & D, Modern Scientific Advances and Technology for Scientific Understanding and Promotion of Ayush System”

The Captain Srinivasa Murthy Central Ayurveda Research Institute is organising a 6-Day CME for Ayush Teachers / Scientists on “Current trends in R & D, Modern Scientific Advances and Technology for Scientific Understanding and Promotion of Ayush System” aimed at advancing knowledge and skills in the field of Ayurveda. This programme, inaugurated on 25.11.2024 will go till 30.11.2024, brought together a diverse group of medical professionals, researchers, and students throughout the India.
The CME training programme featured an array of expert speakers and workshops covering various aspects of Ayurveda, including modern research methodologies, innovative techniques, and the integration of traditional practices with contemporary medical sciences. Participants engaged in interactive sessions, hands-on training, and collaborative discussions designed to enhance their clinical practice and research capabilities.
Dr. Elumalai, Registrar, University of Madras graced the occasion as a Chief Guest and emphasised that medicinal plant research becomes the torch bearer for current researchers after COVID. Dr. A.K. Meena, Assitant Director (Chemistry), CCRAS Hqr, New Delhi delivered the keynote address, highlighting the importance of ongoing education and the role of Ayurveda in promoting holistic health and well-being and also delivered the lecture on CCRAS Contribution in Research and Development of Ayurvedic Medicines. He explained various research carried out under Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India. Dr. Hanuman Prasad Sharma, In-Charge, Bio analytics Facility, CCRF, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi delivered the lecture on topic Utility of LC-MS/MS in Quality Control of Ayurvedic formulations. This training programme is a testament to our commitment to advancing the field of Ayurveda through continuous learning and research," said Dr. S. Chitra, Assistant Director In-charge, CSMCARI, CCRAS, Chennai in her welcome address and also highlighted various Research activities currently going on in this Institute. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. G. Kusuma, Research Officer, (Ayurveda), CSMCARI, CCRAS, who expressed their gratitude for the participants and staff members/Media persons. "The insights and practical knowledge gained during this programme will be invaluable.
The Captain Srinivasa Murthy Central Ayurveda Research Institute remains dedicated to fostering excellence in Ayurveda education and research. The institute plans to host similar programmes in the future, further contributing to the growth and development of Ayurveda.
