Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Gandhinagar, Gujarat has officially signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chandigarh Police. This collaboration aims to bolster the capabilities of law enforcement personnel through a series of comprehensive training programs designed to address contemporary challenges in policing.

Under this agreement, RRU will provide a diverse range of training formats, including classroom-based sessions, virtual learning opportunities, and hybrid models that combine both approaches. The focus of these programs will be on several critical areas:

1. Cyber Crime Investigation Strategies: Participants will learn advanced strategies for investigating cybercrimes, equipping them with essential skills to combat digital threats effectively.
2. Counterterrorism Methods: The partnership aims to enhance counterterrorism capabilities through targeted training that addresses current threats.
3. VIP Security Protocols: Officers will be trained in protocols necessary for ensuring the safety and security of very important persons (VIPs).
4. Foreign Language Proficiency: To improve communication with diverse communities, language proficiency programs will be offered to officials from the Punjab Police and many more. The university will provide many other trainings that will be proposed by the Punjab Police as per their requirements.

   Enhanced Surveillance and Coordination Along India's Coastline
   Preventing Maritime Crimes and Ensuring Safe Shores.

The signing ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel, Vice Chancellor of Rashtriya Raksha University, and Shri Surendra Singh Yadav, IPS, Director General of Police for Chandigarh Police.
