Aadhaar workshop were organized in Gandhinagar

In the efforts to promote the Maximum Impact out of Aadhaar in the State of Gujarat, UIDAI State Office Gujarat and DST Govt of Gujarat jointly organized workshop at Narmada  Hall Swarnim Sankul-1, New Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar. Workshop was inaugurated by Hon'ble Chief Secretary Shri. Raj Kumar

Other senior official Additional Chief Secretary Sh S.J. Haider IAS, Energy and Petrochemicals Department,  Principal Secretary Department of Science and Technology Smt Mona Khandar IAS, Shri. Ramesh Chand Meena IAS,  Principal Secretary Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Dept., Shri. Tushar Bhatt IAS, Managing Director, Gujarat Information Limited, Shri. Saurabh Kumar Tiwari, Joint Secretary , DBT Mission Govt of India, Tushar M Dholakia IAS Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Dept, Shri. Rajesh Kumar Gupta Director UIDAI State Office Gujarat and Shri. Lovekesh Thakur DDG UIDAI RO Mumbai were present.

The Chief Secretary, Govt. of Gujarat said now there is a need to take Aadhaar to a higher level. Government needs to become virtual for catering citizens through good governance. residents need not to go anywhere for knowing or getting benefits from various government schemes. 

Many topics in this workshop have been discussed like Best used cases of Gujarat state/ North east region like : Aadhaar usage e-Khazana, Capacity Building Session for state police, Aadhaar Based Digital Payments and a road map also derived for strengthening a system to use JAM (Jan-Aadhaar-Mobile) trinity

Speakers were from UIDAI HO, NPCI, DBT mission Govt of India and PDS, DST Govt of Gujarat presented. More then 200 Senior officers from different departments of Govt of Gujarat attended the workshop.

Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Director, UIDAI, State office Gujarat, RO Mumbai thanked all the speakers and officers who attended the workshop.
