The Directorate of Research and Publications at Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) is organizing a three-day comprehensive workshop on Research Methodology and Academic Writing for National Security Research from September 25-27, 2024. Tailored specifically for those involved in national security research, the workshop covers essential areas such as topic selection, literature review, data collection, analysis, and effective academic writing. The aim is to provide participants with a strong foundation in research methodology, helping them conduct rigorous research and effectively communicate their findings.

The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel, Vice-Chancellor who highlighted the enduring significance of research. In his inspiring address, Prof. Patel noted, “Research holds permanent value”, stressing the interdisciplinary nature of national security research and its overall far-reaching impact. He also emphasized that research must be useful for the stakeholders and focus must be given for quality research. Now RRU has become the hub of education and research in the field of national security and over a period of 10 years the RRU research work will be cited and recognized by the research players across the globe. The technical session was started with a brainstorming session of Dr Anand Kumar Tripathi, Dean, Directorate of Research & Publication. He enlightened the Scholars about Significance of Research that helps the government in policy making and to understand  the ground reality of the subject selected for the research.

The event has garnered enthusiastic participation from 95 scholars and practitioners, both from India and abroad, reflecting the global importance of this subject. As national security challenges become increasingly complex, high-quality research is essential for shaping informed strategies and policies. This workshop provides valuable insights by blending theoretical frameworks with practical applications, making it an ideal opportunity for both emerging researchers and seasoned professionals to enhance their expertise.
