NIFT Gandhinagar Campus is delighted to announce the Orientation Programme for the fresher batch of 2024, scheduled from July 31, 2024, to August 2, 2024. This three-day event is designed to introduce new students to the enriching campus life and academic excellence at NIFT Gandhinagar.

The programme is organized under the overall supervision and guidance of Prof. Dr. Sameer Sood, Director of NIFT Gandhinagar. Prof. Dr. Sameer Sood welcomed the students, inviting them to embark on a wonderful and exciting journey characterized by the highest academic standards, global industry connections, and vibrant campus celebrations.

Prof. Dr. Sameer Sood expressed his enthusiasm for welcoming the new students, highlighting the institute's commitment to providing a holistic education that blends academic rigor with industry relevance and cultural vibrancy. He emphasized the importance of this orientation as a foundation for the students' future success at NIFT. The Orientation Programme promises to be an engaging and informative experience, setting a positive and motivating manner for the incoming batch.  Through a series of sessions and activities, the new students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the campus, faculty, and peers, ensuring a smooth transition into their new academic environment.

Inaugural Ceremony

The inaugural ceremony of the Orientation Programme will be held on August 1, 2024. The ceremony will be graced by the presence of distinguished guests:

• Smt. Mona Khandhar, IAS, Principal Secretary of the Panchayat, Rural Housing & Rural Development Department, and Science and Technology Department, Government of Gujarat.
• Professor Ashoke Chatterjee, Former Director of the National Institute of Design.
• Jinal Shah, Senior Nutritionist with Rujuta Diwekar and noted TedX Speaker.
• Ms. Amee and Mr. Bharat Vyas, renowned Ornithologists.

These eminent personalities will share their insights and experiences, inspiring the new batch as they begin their academic journey at NIFT Gandhinagar.
