Shri Danesh Rana, Inspector General, North-Eastern Sector, Shillong, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), embarked on a momentous visit to the Campus at 67 BN in Shillong. This visit marked a significant occasion as Inspector General Shri Danesh Rana paid tribute to the brave martyrs and celebrated 86th CRPF Raising Day today.

Addressing the gathering he highlighted the significance of CRPF as peace keepers of the nation. HIs visit was characterized by reverence and respect as he honoured the sacrifice of the valiant soldiers who laid down their lives in service to the nation. He laid floral wreaths at the memorial, offering heartfelt homage to the fallen heroes whose bravery and dedication remain etched in the annals of CRPF's history.

Furthermore, the visit was marked by a vibrant celebration of 86th CRPF Raising Day, a momentous occasion that commemorates the flag to the Central Reserve Police Force. Shri Rana along with the officers and personnel present, celebrated the rich legacy of CRPF, reflecting on its steadfast commitment to upholding peace, security, and integrity across the nation.

In addition to paying homage and celebrating 86" CRPF Raising Day, Shri Danesh Rana, IPS convened a Sainik Sammelan. A gathering aimed at fostering camaraderie, unity, and synergy among the CRPF personnel. This sammelan provided a platform for officers and soldiers to interact, share experiences and reaffirm their resolve to serve the nation with unwavering dedication and valor.

During the event Sh. Imran Malik, DIG, Sh. I. Lokendra Singh, DIG, Sh. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Commandant, Sh. Jacob Vungzabick Tusing, Commandant, NES HQr, Sh. Ajay Kumar, Second in Command-67 BN, Sh. Sanjeev Kumar, Second in Command, Sh. Thanglenlal Misao, Deputy Commandant and officers & personnel were present on this auspicious occasion and celebrated 86" CRPF Raising day in befitting manner.
