Rashtriya Raksha University’s School of Private, Industrial and Corporate Security Management (SPICSM) hosted a Job Fair for Ex-CAPF Personnel in collaboration with the Security Association of Gujarat (SAG)

Gandhinagar, Gujarat - The School of Private, Industrial and Corporate Security Management (SPICSM) at Rashtriya Raksha University hosts a job fair specifically designed to provide re-employment opportunities for retired paramilitary personnel, helping them transition into the private security sector as their post-retirement career. This is a remarkable and unique initiative of SPICSM in collaboration with the Security Association of Gujarat (SAG), to support retired Ex-CAPFs.

Mr. Nimesh Dave, School Director, SPICSM, has taken the commendable initiative to support Ex-CAPF personnel from the remotest corners of the state. Recognizing that many are unaware of the opportunities available to them and how to pursue these opportunities. He highlights RRU's efforts to help them transition to second careers in the corporate sector.

Mr. Ashwani Kaushik, Associate Director, SPICSM, expresses that this job fair is a testament to our commitment to supporting those who have served our nation with utmost dedication and valor. It aims to bridge gap between highly skilled and trained CAPF personnel and the manpower requirements of various security agencies.

Mr. Sumit Sharma, Corporate Security Instructor, SPICSM, emphasizes that this initiative is a small yet significant step in recognizing the sacrifices and contributions of our Ex-CAPF personnel and helping them in their professional journey post-service.

The event sees participation from 16 leading private security agencies and reputed companies from Gujarat, along with 273 Ex-CAPF personnel registered for this recruitment drive. As an outcome of the job fair, 91 candidates receive job offers, with 50 receiving multiple offers. Notably, the highest salary offered is Rs. 9 Lacs per annum.

RRU looks forward to future productive collaborations and initiatives, as corporate entities can benefit by hiring highly trained Ex-CAPF Personnel. This initiative not only offers valuable second career opportunities for Ex-CAPF Personnel but also contributes to national security. The partnership highlights the importance of enhancing capacity building and skill development across private, industrial and corporate security sectors.
