Based on specific intelligence, a female Pax of Ghana Nationality, who arrived in Chennai from Doha, Qatar on 26.06.2024 was intercepted by Air Intelligence Officers and K9-Squad of Airport Customs at Chennai International Airport. During the examination of the person, contraband in the powder  form  concealed  in her bags  and  shoes  which  resulted  in the recovery  of  Cocaine  weighing  2095  grams  approximately  worth  Rs.  21 crores in the Grey market was seized under the NDPS Act, 1985 and the passenger was arrested. She was subsequently remanded to judicial custody and lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal.

 Further investigation is under progress.
