The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation observes Swachhta fortnight between 16th and 30th June

As part of Swachhta Pakhwada (fortnight), the Regional Office (RO) Mumbai and Sub-Regional Office (SRO) Thane of Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation under Government of India are organizing a series of activities to promote cleanliness and hygiene.
As part of this programme these offices took the Swachhta Pledge, demonstrating their commitment to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
On 17th June 2024, a cleaning drive was conducted in Navi Mumbai. A total of 55 officials participated in the drive, including Deputy Director General Smt. Supriya Roy and others.
The cleaning drive aimed at raising awareness about the importance of cleanliness in public places. The enthusiastic participation of the officials and the successful execution of the event highlight the dedication of the National Sample Survey Office towards the Swachh Bharat mission.

The Field Operations Division, National Sample Survey Office is an esteemed organisation under the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MOSPI), Government of India (GOI), engaged in the collection of data on various socio-economic parameters through field surveys. The data collected is crucial for policy formulation and implementation at both the central and state government levels.
