CIPET centre at Chennai was established in the year 1968 with the support from Govt. of India & Govt. of Tamil Nadu and playing a key role in developing the industries in the areas of plastic sector for the past five decades. Since, inception, the institute has diversified its activities in almost all disciplines of Plastics Engineering and Technology viz., CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling, Plastics Processing, Testing & Quality control and Research & Development.

 

The Institute offers Post Graduate, Under Graduate Degree programs in affiliation with Anna University, Chennai with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

 

CIPET: IPT - Chennai has conducted the 17^th Graduation Day on 31.05.2024. Prof. (Dr.) R. Velraj, Vice Chancellor, Anna University delivered the Graduation Day address, handed over the certificates to Graduates.

 

Prof. (Dr.) Velraj, Vice-Chancellor, Anna University, insisted the graduates to develop their skills like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) related to their core domain which will lead them to a successful professional career.

 

Further, he conveyed the graduates to inculcate good attitude apart from their skills and knowledge to achieve higher goals.

 

Principal Director & Head, CIPET: IPT - Chennai, Mr. S. Ilangovan, welcomed the gathering. The Graduation Day was conducted successfully.
