The employees of Income Tax office (Aayakar Bhawan) at the city celebrated the 133rd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar on Thursday (April 19, 2024) with dignity and honour.

The Chief Guest of the function was Shri K M. Dixit, the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, West Bengal & Sikkim.

The other dignitaries present on the occasion included Dr Debi Chatterjee, Dr Mrinmoy pramanick and Dr Subodh Hansda. A village school of Kultali, South 24 parganas, Old Deshbandhu K G & Nursery School was donated a subsidy of Rs 1 lakh this year for peripheral and structural enhancement.
