The Madras Export Processing Zone (MEPZ) Dept. of Commerce Govt. of India and MEPZ Manufactures’ association successfully organised the 8th edition of MEPZ Run, held on March 3rd, 2024. The event witnessed an overwhelming response with over 6,000 runners participating, exceeding all expectations and setting a new record of this annual event of MEPZ.

Unforgettable Experience for All:

From the flagging-off ceremony by Thiru. Aravindan, Zonal Director Narcotics Control Bureau, (NCB) to the energetic finish line celebrations, the MEPZ Run 2024 provided an unforgettable experience for all participants. The event offered:

•        Multiple categories: Half Marathon (21.09 km), MEPZ Run (10 km), and MEPZ Run (5 km), catering to runners of all skill levels.

•        Scenic course: A picturesque route through the MEPZ campus, offering a refreshing and motivating environment.

•        Supportive atmosphere: Enthusiastic volunteers, cheering crowds, and a sense of camaraderie amongst runners.

•        Post-race celebrations: A delightful breakfast spread and award ceremony to acknowledge the achievements of participants.

MEPZ expresses its heartfelt gratitude to:

•        The over 6,000 participants for their enthusiastic participation and making the event a resounding success.

•        The volunteers, sponsors, and partners for their invaluable contributions in organizing and executing the event seamlessly.
