CVRDE, a unit of DRDO celebrated the National Science Day at their premises (Arjun Auditorium) on 28 th February 2024 with the theme “Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat”. Dr. K Srinivasan, Additional Director (Admin) delivered the welcome address by emphasizing the significance of the National Science Day celebration. To mark the occasion, Shri.V. Kavivalluvan, Scientist ‘F’, presented the Science Day Oration on the topic “Design & Development of Track System for Armoured Fighting Vehicles”. In his oration, he highlighted about various technologies utilized in design & development of track system. Shri.J. Rajesh Kumar, Outstanding Scientist & Director CVRDE addressed the gathering and honoured the orator Shri .V. Kavivalluvan, with Science Day award. During his speech, the Director recalled the invaluable contributions of scientists and stressed to foster a spirit of scientific curiosity for delivering quality products to the nation.
