"NIDHI AAPKE NIKAT - 2.0" celebrates its First Anniversary

The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) had announced and implemented a revamped public outreach program named "NIDHI AAPKE NIKAT (NAN) – 2.0" throughout India in January 2023 and the same celebrated its 1st Anniversary today, on 29th January, 2024.

The NAN is a targeted district outreach programme to reach out to all the districts in the country on the same day of every month. It is conducted on 27th of every month and aims at inclusive, cohesive and coherent out reach for participatory awareness for on-the-spot grievances redressal for members or employees and pensioners along with information exchange with various stakeholders. The Nidhi Apke Nikat started exactly a year ago and has witnessed numerous success stories across India with countless conversations and infinite solutions.

Each months Nidhi Aapke Nikat gives attention or emphasis to a special theme and the theme for this month (January 2024) is on the benefits of Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance scheme. Earlier Bhavisha Nidhi Adalats were held in the premises of various regional offices whereas Nidhi Aapke Nikat is reaching out to the stakeholders in each district and on the same day throughout the country.

The NAN caters to the very purpose of strengthening the grievance redress mechanism. This program is an attempt to bring together different stakeholders on a common platform. It is not only an endeavour to just address the subscriber's issues but also to encourage and bring together all the stakeholders on a common platform and sensitize them about new initiatives undertaken in their interest.

Addressing a gathering of all stake holders at IMC, Churchgate, Sri Ranjan Kumar Sahoo, RPFC-I Nariman Point, Mumbai emphasised on the objectives of the programme and on maximum on the spot redressal of grievances. He clarified that apart from a team at the venue, there is a dedicated team at the office premises, who on getting the details of the grievances or issues faced by the stakeholders attends to the same and sends back the details of solution or updates the records and conveys back to the team at the venue.

Shri Ajit Mangrulkar, Director General, IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry addressed and appreciated the whole initiative of EPFO and committed to support such innovative initiatives by the by the PF Organisation.

The program is regularly attended and highly appreciated by number of Members, Pensioners, Employers, Exempted trusts, industry associations, chambers, employees’ unions, CBT, Regional committee members, etc. as EPFO reaches to the grassroots level through this initiative.

ESIC also joined this initiative with their SUVIDHA SAMAGAM program
