NIFT Gandhinagar celebrated its 39th Foundation Day on 22^nd January, 2024, showcasing its rich history and significant contributions to the fields of fashion and design.

The campus, which was registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, operated as a society dedicated to education, research, and innovation in the field of fashion, design, and management.

Prof. Dr. Sameer Sood, Director NIFT Gandhinagar said that celebrations included a variety of events and activities that reflected the institution's commitment to holistic development and cultural engagement.

The walkathon and tree plantation activities highlighted NIFT Gandhinagar's dedication to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. These initiatives not only contributed to the beautification of the campus but also aligned with broader global efforts towards a greener and more sustainable future.

The Rangoli competition based on traditional textiles and drapes emphasized the artistic and cultural dimensions of fashion, preserving and promoting traditional craftsmanship and indigenous textiles.

The graffiti competition provided a contemporary and urban touch, allowing students to express their creativity through street art.

Various cultural programs enhanced the festive atmosphere, bringing together the NIFT community to showcase their talents and celebrate the diversity of artistic expressions within the campus.
