East Coast Railway celebrated Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar-2023 at Railway Auditorium at Bhubaneswar, today.

Gracing the occasion, East Coast Railway General Manager Shri Manoj Sharma congratulated all Railwaymen for their untiring 24X7 effort to attain the goals and targets achieved.

On this occasion, meritorious Railway men and women were handed over General Manager's Special Award “Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar” for outstanding service and dedication to their duties. Altogether 46 Railway Employees were felicitated with Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar-2023 in individual level. Apart from this, two group awards were presented for Rail Traffic Restoration Team during crisis.

Various efficiency Shields were distributed. Khurda Road Division rated as the best Division of the East Coast Railway and bagged with Overall Efficiency Shield. Srikakulam Road Station under Waltair Division and Bargarh Road Station under Sambalpur Division bagged the Big Station & Small Station Cleanliness Shield, respectively.

The Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar 2023 celebration was graced by Smt. Divya Sharma, President, East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation; Shri Sharad Kumar Srivastava, Additional General Manager and other Principal HODs & senior officials of ECoR. Shri Sanjay Mahapatra, Sr. Deputy General Manager welcomed the guests and spoke on the occasion. Shri Biswajit Sahu, Dy. General Manager coordinated the function and proposed vote of thanks.
