Free Sports Kit sponsored by BIS Licencees to 16 Government Schools

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Standards Body is a statutory body functioning under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India. BIS operates various schemes like Product certification (ISI Mark), Management Systems Certification, Hallmarking of Gold & Silver Jewellery & CRS (Compulsory Registration Scheme) for the benefit of common consumers.
BIS is completing 76 glorious years in serving the Nation and has entering the 77th year on 06 January 2024. To Commemorate the BIS Foundation day, various programmes are being conducted by BIS since 01 Jan 2024.
Day Long Programmes were conducted in 16 Government schools during 02-04 Jan 2024.During the Day Long events various competitions like Slogan Writing, Poster Making, Speech Competitions were held for the students of Standard Club. The Students actively participated in the competitions and the winners of the competitions were awarded prizes.
This was followed by Licencees of BIS sponsoring Sports Kit [worth Rs.25,000 ] to each schools as a goodwill gesture by the licencee. The Names of the Schools where the day long programmes were conducted and the Licencees sponsored sports kit to the respective schools are as follows
