Yuva Sangam Phase-III, hosted by the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli, is set to conclude, marking the end of a transformative cultural journey. Aligned with the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat campaign, an initiative of the Government of India, Yuva Sangam aims to unite and empower the country's youth.
The program's enriching itinerary included visits to historical landmarks, academic institutions, and cultural sites, immersing participants in the heritage and traditions of Tamil Nadu. Engaging activities, such as traditional sports, industry visits, and a tree plantation drive, provided practical learning experiences. An exclusive interaction with the Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu emphasized the pivotal role of youth in politics, urging them to dream big for the nation. The valedictory ceremony, graced by Dr. M Selvam, Vice Chancellor of Bharathidasan University, was both reflective and celebratory.
As the Yuva Sangam delegates fondly cherish their final day at IIM Tiruchirappalli, reflecting on diverse cultural explorations and shared experiences, they eagerly prepare for their upcoming departure to Rajasthan on December 5, 2023. This transition signifies the unity of Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu delegates, emphasizing the program's success in bridging regional divides and nurturing a shared national identity.
The departure tomorrow morning of the Tamil Nadu delegates, who will be traveling to Rajasthan alongside their counterparts returning to Rajasthan from Tamil Nadu, is noteworthy. Upon arrival, they are anticipated to receive a warm welcome from their Rajasthan counterparts. A ceremonial welcome has been meticulously arranged at IIM Tiruchirappalli for all the delegates, and the event will be graced by the esteemed presence of Shri. Sirish Kumar is the executive director of Ordnance Factory, Tiruchirappalli. Following the inaugural ceremony, both the Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu delegates will actively participate in an interactive session with their assigned IIM Tiruchirappalli buddies. This session is designed to offer valuable insights into accessing higher educational institutions and navigating potential career growth opportunities.
Yuva Sangam Phase-III's enduring impact lies in the lasting friendships formed, lessons learned, and cultural connections established. IIM Tiruchirappalli, as the gracious host, played a pivotal role in ensuring the program's success, fostering a conducive environment for cultural exchange and holistic learning. The Institute takes pride in contributing to this national effort and remains committed to holistic education and youth development.
