Event Highlights:  Theme: "तूल-वस्त्र-वेदं – Pristine Proficiency of Cotton"

This exclusive showcase delves into the millennia-old history of the Indian cotton industry, which held a global monopoly in cotton textile manufacturing for approximately 3,000 years – from 1500 B.C. to 1500 A.D. The exhibition will unveil cotton's role as an ideal medium of exchange in ancient barter economies and its significant exports to Eastern and European markets during the middle ages.

The design collection, presented in five sequences - “ब्रह्मम (Brahm~)-Totality of Existence, आत्म (Aatm~) - The Self, कर्म (Karma~) - Actions, संसार (Samsara~) - External Cycles, मोक्ष (Moksha~) - To set free from the External Cycle,” will highlight India's prowess in Organic Cotton and Textile sectors. It will showcase the journey from farm to fashion, emphasizing India's standing as the world's largest producer of cotton, boasting the largest area under cotton cultivation globally.

Leading brands, including Myntra, Triburg, House of Pataudi, Prakriti, and NIFT – Centre of Excellence in Khadi (CoEK) Project, will grace the runway, showcasing their contributions to the field of cotton production.

Following the Design Collection Show, guests will be treated to the vibrant and traditional folk dance of Gujarat – Garba. The evening will conclude with a delightful dinner, providing an opportunity for networking and cultural immersion.
