Rashtriya Raksha University and Madhya Pradesh Government Skills Development Program Pioneer Comprehensive Training Initiatives in Cybersecurity and Blockchain

Bhopal, 02 December 2023 – SASTRA (Security and Scientific Technical Research Association) of Rashtriya Raksha University and the Madhya Pradesh Government Skills Development Program, in collaboration with Global Skills Park (GSP), have embarked on a transformative journey to establish Centres of Excellence (CoE) in Bhopal. These CoEs will focus on upskilling around 3000 youths and working professionals annually in the dynamic fields of cybersecurity and blockchain through a combination of online, offline, and hybrid programs.

The collaboration envisions GSP providing the state-of-the-art training infrastructure, facilitating a seamless learning experience for participants. The CoEs are expected to witness a gradual increase in the number of beneficiaries, catering to the growing demand for skilled professionals in these cutting-edge technology areas.

The CoEs will offer a diverse range of programs and training courses tailored for both fresh graduates and working professionals. The goal is to equip participants with advanced skills, making them industry-ready and competitive in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.

In a move to further enhance the training curriculum, GSP has partnered with ITEES Singapore to upskill and train students, bringing global expertise to the local educational landscape. Global Skills Park, as a multi-skill park, is set to become the training infrastructure hub for these programs. This collaboration aims to address the demand for advanced skills in cutting-edge technology areas in both the manufacturing and service sectors.

Mr. Manu Srivastava, the Principal Secretary of the Department of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh Government, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "Leading institutes like Rashtriya Raksha University opening their centers in GSP at Bhopal will benefit thousands of youths and working professionals. This collaboration will provide them with training from renowned experts and faculty members, imparting advanced technological skills and ensuring their readiness for the competitive industry landscape."

Colonel Nidhish Bhatnagar, Director SASTRA and Director, School of Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security at Rashtriya Raksha university confirmed the commitment of Rashtriya Raksha University and complimented the vision and leadership of Prof Bimal Patel, Vice Chancellor, Rashtriya Raksha University towards provisioning of world class, contemporary education and skilling towards achievement of Atmanirbhar and Atmasurakshit Bharat.

This strategic collaboration underscores the commitment of Rashtriya Raksha University, Madhya Pradesh Government, and GSP to nurturing a skilled workforce that aligns with industry demands, ultimately contributing to the socio-economic growth of the country.
