Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar joins the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Palwal

Today's launch of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Asawta village in Palwal district by Union Minister Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, not only marked a historic moment for Haryana's development but also unveiled two transformative healthcare and empowerment initiatives for the nation. These initiatives were announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Independence Day speech this year.
In a virtual interaction during the event today, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated a nationwide program aimed at expanding the number of Jan Aushadi Kendras from 10,000 to 25,000. This initiative is a strategic move to enhance healthcare accessibility and affordability for citizens across the nation. The Prime Minister directed volunteers overseeing Jan Aushadi kendras in villages to ensure the seamless implementation of these schemes, underscoring the government's commitment to reaching every corner of society with essential healthcare services.


Furthermore, during the virtual interaction, Prime Minister Modi introduced the Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendra. This groundbreaking initiative reflects the government's dedication to women-centric welfare programs. Prime Minister emphasized the success of the Drone scheme, stating that it has proven to be empowering for women, aligning with the broader vision of uplifting and supporting them through innovative measures.
Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, Union Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries, expressed his enthusiasm for these initiatives, stating, "The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is not just a journey; it's a commitment to holistic development. These healthcare and empowerment initiatives announced by Prime Minister Modi align perfectly with our mission to transform the socio-economic landscape of Haryana and the entire nation. As we embark on this transformative journey, we anticipate positive changes that will redefine the developmental narrative of our communities."
As the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra unfolds across various districts, these initiatives will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of citizens and promoting inclusive development. The government's proactive approach, as highlighted by the Prime Minister's announcements, emphasizes the integration of technology and healthcare infrastructure to empower individuals, particularly women, across the country.
The event in Asawta also saw various Government agencies set up stalls and camps for the benefit of people. These included camps for health checkup, Aadhar updation, Ujjwala scheme etc.
