Staff Selection Commission has published Notification for “Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF and Rifleman(GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2024” on 24.11.2023. The Commission will hold an open competitive computer based examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR).

Information regarding detail of post, age limit, essential educational qualification, fee payable, scheme of examination, how to apply, etc. are given in detail in the Recruitment Notice.

Applications must be submitted in online mode only through ssc.nic.in. The last date for submission of online applications is 31.12.2023 and last date for making online fee payment is 01.01.2024. In the online application form, candidates are required to upload the scanned colour passport size photograph, which should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination. The Photograph should be without cap, spectacles and frontal view of the face should be visible.

In Southern Region, the Computer Based Examination will be held in February – March, 2024 in 21 Centres/Cities as follow: 10 Centres in Andhra Pradesh; 7 Centres in Tamil Nadu, 1 Centre in Puducherry and 3 Centres in Telangana.
