Prof K. Tharanikkarasu takes over as Vice-Chancellor (i/c), Pondicherry University

Prof. Gurmeet Singh, a renowned academic administrator and an internationally reputed expert in the field of corrosion science and smart materials, has taken over as the Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University on the 29th November 2017. The extended tenure of Prof Gurmeet Singh ended on 23.11.2023.
On demitting his office, Prof Gurmeet Singh handed over the charge to the senior most, Director of Pondicherry University Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu on 23.11.2023.
Professor Gurmeet Singh, the outgoing Vice-Chancellor acknowledged and thanked the Statutory Officers, Faculty Members, Staff, Students and all the stake-holders for extending full support during his tenure as Vice-Chancellor.
