Cricket maniacs of the city may enjoy the cricket match of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup -2023 that is going to be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on November 11, 2023 till late night as the Metro Railway authority has decided to run a pair of special Metro services after the scheduled commercial hours in North-South Metro Corridor (Blue Line). England and Pakistan, the two cricket giants, will be locking horns at Eden Gardens on that day.

The cricket lovers will not have to worry about returning  home after the match at night as Metro Railway Authorities are going to run these special Metro services after the scheduled commercial hours. These special Metro services will be run between Esplanade - Dakshineshwar and Esplanade – Kavi Subhash routes of Blue Line.

One service will start from Esplanade at 10:45 pm at night and it will reach Dakshineshwar station at 11:18  pm at night and similarly another service will  start from Esplanade at 10:45 pm at night and reach Kavi Subhash station at 11:18 pm at night.

These services will stop at all the stations in between.
