METRO TO INTRODUCE PAPER-BASED QR TICKET AT SEALDAH STATION (GREEN LINE)

The Metro Railway authority has taken a revolutionary initiative to enhance passenger amenities. In the East-West Metro (Green Line) Paper-Based QR Code Ticket is going to be introduced on an experimental basis at Sealdah station of this Corridor from October 11, 2023 (Wednesday). If such a trial is successful then the Paper Based QR Code Ticketing System will be implemented throughout the entire stretch of this corridor with the gradual removal of the existing token system.

 

During the trial period, tokens will also be issued from the counters. Commuters have been requested to cooperate with the Metro authorities to implement this initiative successfully.
