In connection with the Swachhata Special Campaign 3.0, Regional Office, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Chennai has organized Cleanliness Campaign “Swachhata Hi Seva” Garbage Free India at Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Vandaloor, Chennai on 01.10.2023 between 10.00 and 11.00 AM in association with Vandaloor Zoo, Tamil Nadu Forest Department along with students from the Quaide Milleth College for Men, Medavakkam, Jerusalem College of Engineering, Pallikaranai. The volunteers from an NGO ExNoRa and staff / officials of Regional Office, Chennai and Vandaloor Zoo also participated in the event. On part of the event, around 100 numbers of students / volunteers / officials / visitors of the Zoo were participated and cleaned the premises of the Zoo and also distributed leaflets on LiFE Mission of Govt. of India and created awareness among the visitors of the Zoo
