As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva, Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Sath - The Food Corporation of India, Zonal Office (South), Chennai conducted a massive cleanliness drive at Marina Beach Chennai on 01 October 2023 from 10 AM to 11 AM. More than 120 staff members along with the family members participated and made it a grand successful cleanliness drive. The drive started with a short rally from Presidency College up to the Marina Promenade and followed by the cleaning of beach area. NSS Volunteers from Presidency College and New College also joined the drive. Volunteers also took Swachhta Pledge during the event.
