A Diagnostic and Fitment Camp for the persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) is being organized in Raver, Jalgaon District, Maharashtra on September 24th 2023. The event will be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale, at 11 am in the premises of V.S. Naik college Burhanpur Road, Raver, District Jalgaon. 

The camp, which aims to provide comprehensive support to the hearing impaired, is a testament to the Government's commitment to promoting inclusivity and empowering every citizen, regardless of their abilities. The hearing aids from Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities  (Divyangjan) {AYJNISHD(D)} – Mumbai along with other assistive devices under Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchase/Fitting of Aids and Appliances (ADIP) Scheme of the Government of India and Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) will be provided by Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) -Kanpur on  September 24th 2023, at 11.30am after initial screening and diagnosis to Divyangjan and senior citizens belonging to BPL category.

The Diagnostic and Fitment Camp will offer a range of services, including, hearing assessments by expert audiologists who will conduct hearing assessments to diagnose and understand the extent of hearing impairment. Union Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale, will be the chief guest for this event. His presence underscores the Government's commitment to creating a more inclusive society where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. The Diagnostic and Fitment Camp is a collaborative effort of  AYJNISHD (D) Mumbai, ALIMCO-Kanpur, and Jalgaon District administration, who have been dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.
