Staff Selection Commission has published Notification for “Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2023” on 26.07.2023. The Staff Selection Commission will hold an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) for Organizations/Offices of the Government of India. The posts are of Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial in Level-6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission.Candidates from all parts of the country will be eligible to apply.

2.       Information regarding details of post, tentative number of vacancies, age limit, essential educational qualification, fee payable and mode of fee payment, scheme of examination, how to apply, etc. are given in detail in the Recruitment Notice.

3.       Applications must be submitted in online mode only through Commission’s website ssc.nic.in. The last date for submission of online applications is 16.08.2023(23:00).In the online application form, candidates are required to upload scanned photograph and signature. Photograph should be without cap, spectacles and frontal view of the face should be visible.

4.       In Southern Region, Computer Based Examination will be held in October, 2023 in 21 Centres/Cities as follows: 10 Centres in Andhra Pradesh; 01 Centre in Puducherry, 07 Centres in Tamil Nadu; 03 Centres in Telangana.
