A G20 Jan Bhagidari Event 'Coin and Note exchengemela' was conducted by RBI at Tirunelveli through SBI Tirunelveli branch on June 12, 2023.

The Event, inaugurated by Shri T Kiran Kumar, GM, RBI, was conducted with the objective of implementing Clean Note Policy of RBI and to make coins of various denominations available to the general public.

During the Event, the bank branch facilitated the exchange of soiled notes and mutilated notes through their banking counters. Further, coins of various denominations were distributed to the customers and general public. More than 100 people got benefitted by this mela.

In order to give wide publicity, G20 merchandise (caps, T-shirts) were distributed to the general public.
